Apps
Apps are Platica's native integrations: tools built and maintained by the Platica team that your agent can use during a conversation, without relying on external servers. You connect an account, choose which tools to expose, and your agent can use them right away.
Looking for Shopify, Notion, GitHub, or HubSpot from the Integrations catalog? Those cards connect through MCP and belong to Functions → MCPs . This section covers only Platica's native apps.
Independent installations
Each account you connect is an independent installation. You can connect multiple installations of the same app (for example, two Shopify stores or two OpenTable restaurants) and choose, for each one, which tools to expose to your agent.
Each installation has its own internal name, its own credentials, and its own tool selection, so you can manage separate operations without mixing them up.
Available apps
| App | What your agent can do | Tools |
|---|---|---|
| Documents | Render markdown to HTML/PDF and manage reusable templates with versioning. | 6 |
| Code Interpreter | Run code in an isolated environment: data analysis, charts, and file generation. | 6 |
| OpenTable | Search restaurant availability on OpenTable Mexico to make reservations on behalf of the customer. | 1 |
| Platica | Send approved WhatsApp templates, list them, and update customer data from the conversation. | 3 |
| Shopify | Query your store's catalog: products, prices, variants, and stock. | 1 |
On the main screen you can search for an app by name and filter between All and Connected.
How do they connect?
Every native app shares the same three-step wizard: Configure → Test connection → Enable tools. See the full guide in Connect an app .
Connecting an app makes its tools available at the workspace level, but it doesn't activate them on its own. Each agent activates the tools it wants to use from its own "Tools" tab.
