Company
The Company section defines your business's identity inside Platica. More than just a data form, this information becomes the context AI agents use to understand your company and deliver more relevant, personalized responses to your customers.
Context for AI Agents: The platform's internal agents have access to all of this information so they can adapt their responses to your business's industry, language, and time zone. The more complete the profile, the better the responses.

How to update the company profile
Click the Edit button in the section you want to modify.
Type or select the new value. Note that fields like Industry, Time zone, and Language have a dropdown menu to make selection easier.
Save the changes. The update will be reflected on the platform immediately, and the new context will be available to all AI agents.
Why completing each field matters
Every field of the company profile has a direct impact on your customers' experience:
- Name and logo — Reinforce your brand identity in interactions
- Description and industry — Give the AI agents the business context they need to avoid generic responses
- Time zone — Ensures business hours, campaigns, and reports are accurate for your region
- Default language — Ensures agents respond in the right language from the very first message
If your team serves customers in multiple languages, describe that in the Description field. For example: "Financial services company that serves customers in Spanish and English in Mexico and the United States." AI agents will adjust their behavior based on that information.
