Account
The Account section is your personal space inside Platica. Here you can update how your teammates see you, change your password, and close all your active sessions.
Profile Information
Your profile is the information you show to the rest of the team. To edit any field, click directly on it and save the change.

| Profile photo | Image that identifies you inside the platform. Accepts PNG or JPG files up to 2 MB. Click "Change" to upload a new image. |
| Full name | Your name as it will appear in assigned conversations and to the rest of the team. |
| Email address associated with your account. Used to sign in and receive notifications. | |
| Phone | Contact number with country code (e.g., +52 for Mexico). |
| Work area | Department or role you belong to within the company (e.g., Sales, Support, Tech). |
Security
Change Password
To update your password, click "Change password" in the Security section and follow the steps:
Open your email where a password reset link has just been sent.
Enter the new password you want to use.
Re-enter the new password in the confirmation field.
Click "Save" to apply the change.
Use a password of at least 6 characters that combines uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Avoid using personal information such as your name or date of birth.
Active Sessions
Click "Sign out" to disconnect from every device at once.
Immediate action: When you close all active sessions, you will be signed out of Platica on every device at the same time, including the one you're using right now. You'll need to sign in again to keep working.
