Notifications

When you connect your WhatsApp account, you'll start to receive certain types of notifications. This system is designed to keep your account up to date and notify you in a timely manner about anything happening with your line.

Below we explain the cases and reasons we'll notify you:

1. Account Alerts

We'll notify you when there are important situations related to billing, limits, or the overall health of your WhatsApp Business account.

Main cases:

  • Capacity increase denied: We let you know when Meta turns down increasing your message sending limit. This usually happens because of your account's recent activity or low quality in your sends.
  • Balance depleted or low: When your prepaid balance is about to run out or has reached zero.
  • Suspension for non-payment: If your account is stopped due to an issue with your billing method.
  • Sending limits: Alerts when you reach or are about to reach the limit of messages you can send per day.

2. Account Updates

We'll notify you when critical changes happen to your account's status and permissions (WABA).

  1. Account Deactivated or Reactivated

    • Why it happens: Meta has disabled your account or lifted a previous ban.
    • Action: We notify you of the date and updated status immediately. If it's a ban, the registration is paused in our system so you can appeal.

  2. Policy Violations

    • Why it happens: Meta detected that your account sent content violating its policies (e.g., spam, fraud, or sale of prohibited items).
    • Action: We translate the violation reason into English and send you a warning so you can correct the issue before a permanent ban.

  3. Verification Rejected or Lost

    • Why it happens: Changes to your business's official verification (for example, if Meta rejects your business registration documents).
    • Action: We send you a critical alert so you can review the Business Manager and re-upload the valid documentation.

3. Phone Quality and Limits

We'll notify you when Meta updates the status or reputation of your WhatsApp number, since this directly affects the number of messages you can send per day (your messaging limit).

  • Limit increase or decrease: We let you know if your daily message sending capacity goes up (for example, from 1,000 to 10,000 messages thanks to good quality) or down due to reports or blocks from recipients.
  • Number at risk (Flagged): If your line's quality drops drastically, Meta will put your number in a warning state. We'll send you an urgent alert (by email and in the platform) so you can review who you're writing to, before they cut your message limit.
  • Automatic action: Every time Meta sends us this update, we automatically adjust the limit of messages allowed for your number registered on our platform. That way you'll always know exactly what your current sending capacity is.

4. Template Quality

We'll notify you when a specific template starts having a bad reputation due to high bounce rates or user complaints.

  • We identify when quality drops to Medium (Yellow) or Low (Red) status.
  • We update the rating in the system so you know which templates to pause or improve.

5. Template Status

We'll keep you up to date on the lifecycle of your templates so you always know what you can and can't send.

  • Approved Templates: We let you know when your template is authorized and ready to use. We also tell you clearly which category it was approved under (for example, whether it was categorized for or can be used for Marketing, Utility, or Authentication campaigns).
  • Rejected or Paused Templates: If your template breaks Meta's guidelines, is heavily reported, or has recurring errors, we'll extract the reasons for the rejection and suggest how to fix the format so you can successfully resubmit it for review.
